Mike Shaffer was 21 years old. He had lymphoma cancer... But everyday he never complained. He seemed peaceful, and loved his
life, and especially loved his wife Amanda. He was our youth pastor at Shepherd's Heart for about a year, and now his wife
and her cousin our pursuing with the youth ministry and still leading the youth. After Mike passed away I spent every Monday
evening with Amanda watching movies and eating dinner. It was a really good time to get to know Amanda. I am glad we spent
that time together.
About a month or two after Mike passed away we went to a relay for life. It was awesome we walked all night and raised
money in honor of Mike. It was a hard time for everyone, but it brought us all together closer...
The one year anniversary of Mike Shaffer will be coming up this Sunday. For those who knew Mike you know that he was an
awesome person to be around. This Sunday let's think about Mike and all he did for us and the memories we had with him...
